However there is no place for Michail Antonio, who has only recently returned from injury, although youngsters Nathaniel Chalobah (Watford) and Harry Maguire (Leicester) have both received their first call-ups.
England face Malta on 1 September and Slovakia at Wembley three days later. The full squad is as follows:
