Paul Robinson 6

Little he could do about either goal and wasn’t overly tested aside from those strikes.

Jon Flanagan 5

Beaten far too easily by Arnautovic for the second goal. Struggled to make an impact on the game.

Michael Keane 6

Solid but outshone by his central defensive partner. Loose marking on Martins Indi for header against post.

Ben Mee 7

Picked up a bloodied nose in his first challenge with Jon Walters but battled on valiantly. Unlucky with the slip for first goal.

Stephen Ward 6

First goal came down his side but he stuck with his man. Neither full-back offered much going forward.

George Boyd 5

Wide areas were a let down for Burnley and neither Boyd or Arfield imposed themselves on the game.

Dean Marney 7

Kept going and set the tone for what he called for last week - more aggression away from home.

Jeff Hendrick 6

Did better in the second half but a couple of really loose passes and very lucky not to be sent-off for a second yellow.

Scott Arfield 5

Picked up some clever positions during Burnley’s bright start but he failed to make them pay with poor final balls.

Ashley Barnes 6

Horrible to play against, a real physical presence. Only he knows if second half elbow was deliberate.

Andre Gray 7

Some nice touches and intelligent runs. Looked lively on his return to the side.
