ANDRE Gray's future at Turf Moor has been uncertain for a while and now the Liverpool Echo report that Everton are lining up a bid for the 24-year-old striker.

Gray has just a year remaining on his current deal with the Clarets but there has been little progress in talks over extending that contract, and Burnley could cash in this summer.

According to the Liverpool Echo Everton have now held preliminary talks with Burnley over a deal for Gray, and it could be a double swoop on Turf Moor from the Toffees, who are also leading the chase for Michael Keane.

IF Gray does leave Burnley this summer Sean Dyche will have to look at revamping his attack and the Daily Mirror report that Huddersfield striker Nahki Wells is a target.

The 27-year-old has only a year remaining on his deal with the Terriers and according to reports Burnley are considering an £8million move for the Bermuda international.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Wells scored 10 goals last season to help fire David Wagner's side into the Premier League, but he has yet to agree to a new contract with Huddersfield.

ANOTHER striker being linked with a move to Turf Moor is Nottingham Forest hitman Britt Assombalonga.

The Sunday People report that Burnley and Huddersfield are both eyeing the former Peterborough United man, who hit 14 goals in 33 games in the Championship last season.

BURNLEY are still being linked with a number of left-backs as they looked to provide competition for Stephen Ward.

But according to The Sun talks with Hull over Andrew Robertson have broken down over the £8million defender, leaving Watford in pole position to pounce.

And The Mirror report that Burnley are keeping an eye on Queens Park Rangers' Jake Bidwell as one alternative option at left-back should a move for Leeds' Charlie Taylor fail to come off, with Celtic now showing an interest in the out-of-contract 23-year-old.
