ANDRE Gray has completed his £18million move from Burnley to Watford.
The 26-year-old has signed a five-year deal at Vicarage Road after turning down the offer of a new contract at Turf Moor in July.
Gray had just a year to run on his existing deal with Burnley and he had told the club he would not be signing a new contract, meaning he would be able to leave on a free transfer next year.
A Burnley statement read: "The Clarets gave Gray the chance to extend his stay at Turf Moor with the offer of a substantially improved new contract earlier this summer.
"However, the former England C international made it clear he would not be looking to renew a deal which had just 12 months still to run.
"Burnley therefore took the decision to accept an offer from Watford and move forward with their own plans going into the new Premier League season."
Gray joined Burnley from Brentford in July 2015 and was Championship top scorer that season as he helped fire the Clarets to the title.
He scored nine Premier League goal last season but started two of Burnley's last six top flight games.
