NAHKI Wells is expected to become Burnley’s seventh signing of the summer, as the clock ticks down to tomorrow’s 11pm transfer deadline.
The Clarets are in talks with Premier League newcomers Huddersfield about the striker.
Huddersfield are said to be demanding £10million for the 27-year-old, but it is thought £5m could be enough to secure the Bermudian Former Bradford City front man Wells was Huddersfield’s top scorer two seasons ago, but has not played this season after having minor surgery on his ankle earlier this month.
