OUR Clarets jury discuss the big issues at Turf Moor. This week, who gets the nod in attack for the visit of Arsenal?

MATT RIGGS

I thought Ashley Barnes was superb against Swansea, up there with his best performances for us. However, if Chris Wood is fit, I would start him as the lone striker against Arsenal.

Since Johann Berg Gudmundsson has been back in the side, we've been playing more balls into the box which will suit someone like Wood and I'd always back him to score if he can get on the end of a few crosses.

You'd imagine chances will be few and far between against Arsenal, so when we get them, it's important we do our best to take them.

ANDREW GREENWOOD

It depends on what formation he’ll play but I’d guess we’ll be the same shape as against Swansea. If that’s the case and he’s fully fit then I’d definitely bring Chris Wood back.

He was in form before his injury and had scored a couple of important goals. He’s a great threat in the air and he’s a bit more mobile than Sam Vokes and Ashley Barnes.

It’s a nice position for Sean Dyche to be in. I’d like to see Nahki Wells get some time too but with Wood’s aerial threat, I think he’ll get the nod.

AMER STANSFIELD-MUSHTAQ

I would stick with Ashley Barnes. Not just after his man of the match performance against Swansea City but he is the type of player that Arsene Wenger and his team wouldn't like to be up against on the Sunday after their Europa League tie.

However, whoever the boss picks to play up front against Arsenal I'm sure it will pay off as that has always seemed to be the case this season.
