BURNLEY will visit Premier League leaders Manchester City in the FA Cup third round while Blackburn Rovers will host Hull City if they get past Crewe Alexandra in next week's replay.

The Clarets face a trip to the Etihad in early January having already visited Pep Guardiola's side in the league when they lost 3-0 in October.

Rovers, meanwhile, will have an Ewood Park clash with Championship strugglers Hull City if they get past League Two outfit Crewe in next Tuesday's replay.

Tony Mowbray's men drew 3-3 with David Artell's side on Sunday after surrendering a 3-0 lead and seeing Rekeem Harper and Elliott Bennett sent off.

Rovers reached round five last season when they took the lead against Manchester United before falling to a 2-1 defeat to Jose Mourinho's men.

Regardless of Rovers' FA Cup replay result at Crewe, Mowbray's side will not play their scheduled League One game at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, January 6, after the Dons booked a placed in round three.

A new date for the fixture has yet to be arranged.

Burnley were knocked out in round five last season by then non-league side Lincoln City.

The third round ties will be played between January 5-7.
