Arsenal star and Chile's most prolific scorer Alexis Sanchez has made himself clear enough: if Gunners want to keep him, they can't only promise him the Europa League or Premier League titles.

Sanchez, who last year netted 24 times and provided 11 assists, has reportedly expressed the need to have something more meaningful and permanent than a promise - precisely, a big £400,000 cheque every week .

Such staggering amount (about £125,000 more than he earns now), would allow the Chilean footballer to make £40 per minute, with a total annual profit of almost £21m.

If Gunners agree to his crazy demand, he will become the fourth highest paid player in the world, making less money than Ezequiel Lavezzi, Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The number gets even more impressive if compared to the average salary of a nurse or a firefighter, both earning between the 30 and 34,000 per year.

What could the Arsenal giant make of all this money? To make your life easier, here are five things that Alexis Sanchez will be able to do if he starts cashing £400,000 per week.

1. Buy an island

Alexis Sanchez could easily add to the list of celebrities who own a private island by investing, for example £18m into a 129-acre piece of land in the Caribbeans.

And guess what - he would still be so rich to afford renovation and construction works.

On a side note, an extra £3m would be enough to buy the cheapest private jet on the market, which would allow him to fly his dream location without having to share the plane with us paesants.

2. Drink almost 134,000 pints of Guinness per week

A staggering pay rise like this certainly deserves a decent celebration in British style.

With the average price of a pint of Guinness being around £3, Sanchez and mates could enjoy an incredible 130,000 glasses of Irish ale.

3. Kick Ronaldo out of his house and buy it for himself

Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently makes almost £425,000 a week, leaves in a dreamy house in near Madrid which is valued around £10m.

The price of such residence would be a trifle for Chile's top goalscoarer, who could buy it with half f his annual earnings!

4. Spend his summer holidays in Love Island's Casa Amor

British viewers have remained bewitched by the beautiful second location of ITV2's Love Island, Casa Amor.

The villa, which is Mallorca, Spain, is thought to cost around £2.5m, and features a massive pool, two roof terraces, a vineyard and much more.

Considered the price, Alexis Sanchez could buy more than almost eight houses like this one.

5. Purchase as many Ferraris as he likes

Sports stars and luxurious cars are always a winning combination.

Considering that one of the latest gems on the market, theFerrari 812 Superfast, costs around £253,000, you can do the maths.

Having another sports car in the garage, Sanchez won't have to wake up early fearing to be late for training anymore.
