Manchester City produced a masterclass to set a new Premier League record of 15 consecutive victories.

The visitors pumped up the volume by listening to Oasis before kick-off. The music of the Gallagher brothers, both mad-for-it City fans, is the team’s current inspiration.

Pep Guardiola insists the title is not yet decided, but on current form his Blues are irresistible champions-elect.

David Silva scored the opener. The Spaniard, who has a knack of being in the right place at the right time, met Bernard Silva’s pass to claim his third goal in as many games.

He also got City’s third after 52 minutes, ghosting forward to support Leroy Sane’s left-wing burst.

Kevin De Bruyne had added a second after 34 minutes. The Belgian fired in a fierce free-kick, Bernando Silva left it and the Swansea defence was flat-footed as the ball evaded everyone and nestled in the net.

And Sergio Aguero made it four late on from sub Yaya Toure’s assist.

Manchester City star Kyle Walker says the Premier League leaders won’t suffer complacency, despite being 11 points clear.

City’s 2-1 win over rivals United at the weekend made it 15 consecutive league wins, and increased their lead at the top of the table.

And England defender Walker, a £50million summer signing from Spurs, says that they won’t be taking their foot off the gas.

“We won’t be complacent against Swansea,” said the 27-year-old. “The senior members of the dressing room and the management definitely won’t let us take it light-heartedly.

“We need to keep our foot on the gas, keep going and hopefully that will see us through.

“It’s going to be difficult.

“It is always a tough place to go and they play some good football, but we’re full of confidence off the back of the United result and we need to take that confidence into this game.”
