Alexandre Lacazette will wear the No.9 shirt for Arsenal next season.
The Frenchman is Arsenal's big summer buy, arriving from Lyon in a £52million deal.
He has flown out to Australia with his new teammates for the pre-season tour and completed his first session on Tuesday at the Koragah Oval.
Eagle-eyed fans on social media have spotted Lacazette boarding the team bus wearing No.9.
And Arsenal have now confirmed the news with the shirt available on the club's official website.
Lucas Perez wore nine last year but appears on his way out of the Emirates and has been demoted to 28.
The Spaniard has not travelled to Australia with a return to La Liga on the cards.
It is understood that Perez's former club Deportivo want to re-sign the forward, but Arsenal will not sell the player for less than the £17million fee they paid for him last summer.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has confirmed Lacazette will make his debut against Sydney FC on Thursday.
“Lacazette will make his debut here, yes,” said Wenger after arriving in Sydney.
“On Thursday night he will certainly play a part in the game and in the other game as well. In the two games he will take part."
