Antonio Conte has confirmed David Luiz will return to the Chelsea squad for the clash with West Brom.

The Brazilian was left out for the win over Manchester United after questioning Conte's tactics against Roma.

Conte insisted it was a tactical issue and plans to recall Luiz for the trip to the Hawthorns.

"He is in the squad. It was a tactical decision and every single player has to react well and accept the decision," he said.

"It is normal this. I don’t like to speak about a single player.”

Andreas Christensen impressed in central defence against United and there is no certainty Luiz will be in the starting line-up.

Conte added: "It is positive, this season with Christensen I have another good opportunity.

“He is showing to be a good player for us. He is playing with a great maturity and I hope he continues to grow in this way.”

Conte also addressed the issue of technical director Michael Emenalo's surprise departure from Stamford Bridge.

"For sure this is a big loss for us. With Michael our relationship was very good, he helped me a lot this season," he added.

"At the same time we have to respect his decision and professional decision. I wish for him and his family the best for the present and future.”
