Antonio Conte has revealed that the competition for the Premier League title makes it the "most intense" league in the world.
Conte won three Serie A titles with Juventus before moving to England via the Italian national team.
He claimed the Premier League title in his first season with Chelsea - but insists it was not a breeze to take the Blues to the top.
Conte, who saw his Chelsea side lose to basement club Crystal Palace on Saturday, believes that the competition for the title makes it the hardest league in the world to conquer.
"This is the toughest, the most intense, the most difficult, no doubt," Conte told GQ Magazine.
"In Spain, you have two teams who might win, Real Madrid and Barcelona, every now and then Atletico Madrid.
"In Italy, there is only Juventus.
"In Germany, there is Bayern Munich. OK, Borussia Dortmund won it with Klopp, but it is [mostly] Bayern.
"In France, there is Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco for a season.
"But here, there are at least six clubs who think they can win the title. Manchester City and United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham.
"And Chelsea, for sure."
