Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis will pocket over £5.5million if he leaves the Emirates.

Gazidis has spent eight years at the Emirates but his position could come under threat if there is a change in ownership.

Majority shareholder Stan Kroenke turned down a £1billion takeover bid from Alisher Usmanov last week and insists he has no intention of selling the club.

But there remains uncertainty in the board room and on the pitch, where Arsene Wenger is yet to sign a new deal.

Should Kroenke sell up, Gazidis could be axed or potentially leave voluntarily.

And he would be in for a hefty windfall after reaching a service agreement almost 10 years ago, reports the Mail.

It would entitle the 52-year-old to three years' his gross salary plus an annual bonus, which was over £1million a year ago.

Gazidis would also receive £100,000 annual pension contributions.
