Arsenal did two major bits of business this summer.

While other clubs were bringing in all sorts of major new signings (*glances in direction of Manchester*), The Gunners settled on:

a) Buying Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for £52m, and b) managing to fend off Pep Guardiola's flirtations and keep hold of Alexis Sanchez.

While many Arsenal fans would have liked their club to do more, Arsene Wenger's transfer window activity did mean Gooners could start salivating at the prospect of their new attacking line-up.

Namely…

Lacazette, Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

The thought of the Frenchman playing through the middle, with the German and Chilean playmakers floating around in free roles behind him, understandably had many supporters convinced they were going to tear apart opposition defences.

Unfortunately, they are yet to see the three of them on the pitch at the same time.

With Ozil still out injured, and with Sanchez missing the start of the season with the hump a knock of his own, this potentially outstanding attacking trio is yet to be seen.

Given that we are now in October, many Gooners are starting to wonder if and when they might get to see Ozil, Sanchez and Lacazette line-up together…

One day, Arsenal fans. One day…
