Arsenal fans were pretty happy with their first game of the new Premier League season against Leicester City... eventually.

The Gunners stormed into an early lead on Friday night, as £52million signing Alexandre Lacazette bagged in just two minutes.

But Shinji Okazaki equalised for the Foxes before Jamie Vardy put them ahead on the half hour mark, as groans filled north London.

Danny Welbeck snatched a goal back for the Gunners with the last kick of the first half, as the two teams went into the break level.

The second 45 was just as frenetic as the first as Vardy scored a second to put the Foxes 3-2 up, before Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud grabbed goals in the space of two minutes to win Arsenal the game.

During the match TV cameras picked out Alexis Sanchez, who is currently injured, watching the Gunners in action from the stands.

At certain points - particularly after Vardy's first goal - he looked less than impressed with what he was witnessing.

And well, football fans are convinced the Chilean's facial expression speaks volumes.
