Arsenal have responded well to losing at Watford two weeks ago.

After going down 2-1 at Vicarage Road, the Gunners won 1-0 at Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League, 5-2 at Everton in the Premier League and 2-1 at home to Norwich in the Carabao Cup thanks to a brace from youngster Eddie Nketiah.

The 18-year-old forward was nowhere to be seen in training at London Colney on Friday though, as Arsene Wenger put his big hitters through their paces ahead of Saturday afternoon's visit of Swansea City.

Here what was going down during today's session in rural Hertfordshire.

1. Olivier Giroud was keeping an eye on the new yellow Premier League footballs

"These are so much better than the Europa League ones!" (

2. Although it wasn't long before a prankster struck, and superglued one to Alexandre Lacazette's hand

"Alright, very funny lads" (

3. Another to Granit Xhaka's shoulder

4. And another to Theo Walcott's arm

"How am I supposed to run nowhere quickly like this?" (

5. The culprit was quickly identified though, giving himself away when he managed glue two of the balls to his own hands

"Lads?! Any help? I'm sorry!" (

6. Elsewhere, Jack Wilshere was determined to make a certain player look bad as he plots to take his place in the team

"Have that Granit!" (

7. Clockwork Per Mertesacker had been wound up for the day

*CLANK CLANK CLANK* (

8. The squad's "smile ruefully as though you've just missed a great chance" training was going well

"And hands on hips. And head back. And smile. That's it!" (

9. And, eager to build on his fine display at Everton, Mesut Ozil was in full flow

"This is great! Where's that new contract?" (

10. For a bit anyway

"Ah, this is better" (
