Arsene Wenger has admitted the FA Cup final against Chelsea could be his final game in charge at Arsenal.

The Gunners boss has yet to commit to a new contract and once again failed to confirm whether he would be staying on at the Emirates.

Asked whether Saturday could be his last game in charge of Arsenal, Wenger refused to be moved on the matter.

"I don't know," he said. "It will not be my last match anyway because I will stay in football."

"I want to win the cup for my club and that's all I care about.

"Would it be a nice farewell? No, what I want is to win the next game. It's not about me, it's about us winning the trophy and giving everything to achieve it.

“The team has given so much and they really want to win something this season.”

Victory over Chelsea at the weekend would have Wenger his SEVENTH FA Cup success - matching the number won by both Liverpool and Chelsea during their entire histories.

Wenger must contend with a crisis at centre-back with Gabriel now joining the suspended Laurent Koscielny on the sidelines with Shkodran Mustafi also set to be absent.

"Gabriel is out for 6-8 weeks. We had a scare about his cruciate but it’s medial. He avoids surgery," Wenger revealed.

“Alexis Sanchez is OK, Oxlade-Chamberlain is in contention for final. Mustafi is still sick and hasn’t trained yet.”
