Ben Woodburn is the name on the lips of every Wales fan after he scored a stunning goal just four seconds into his international debut against Austria.

The 17-year-old Liverpool starlet found the back of the net from distance to win the tie for his side - what a way to introduce yourself, eh?

As to be expected Reds fans were more than a little excited about what their academy graduate produced on such a big stage.

Well, it was only last year, the youngster was training with Liverpool's U16s, arriving for sessions in his Rainhill High School uniform as he completed his GCSEs.

And now he's scoring outrageous goals in World Cup qualifiers. What a way to make everyone else in football feel really, really old.

It's clear to see that the teenager has a bright future in football, especially if he continues to develop in the way he has been doing.

Sure, he will need some regular first team game time, which may be difficult given the amount of attacking talent on call at Liverpool.

But Reds fans feel it will definitely benefit them in the long run because, and this is a good one... because Woodburn is the next Lionel Messi. Here's hoping.
