Cristiano Ronaldo has won back-to-back Best FIFA Football Awards in London.
The Real Madrid superstar won the first of the new version of the world's best player prize back in January and has repeated the feat less than a year later.
Lionel Messi and Neymar rounded out the three-man shortlist for the award. which was presented by Brazlian legend Ronaldo and Diego Maradona.
Cristiano retained the prize after scoring 44 goals in 48 appearances in 2017, including 33 for Real Madrid and 11 for Portugal.
“Thank you for voting for me," Ronaldo said.
“A mention for Leo and Neymar for being here.
“Thanks to Real Madrid teammates, coach and president they support me throughout the year.
“We are in England for the first time, I am really glad, it is a great moment for me.
“FIFA gives opportunity to the fans. I have fans around the world I appreciate that.
“It is great to be here around these great players, and this (Maradona) great player."
Holland star Lieke Martens won the women's player of the year after inspiring her country to Euro 2017 victory.
She beat last year's winner Carli Lloyd and Deyna Castellanos.
Olivier Giroud earlier won the Puskas Award for his scorpion kick against Crystal Palace.
The Arsenal star netted in outrageous style on New Year's Day at the Emirates Stadium to win the Gunners a rare trophy.
Collecting his award, the France international said: "It is an honour for me. I am delighted to win this trophy in front of legends of football.
"I would like to thank everyone who voted for me. Obviously I would like to thank for my team-mates. Without them I couldn't score them. I would also like to dedicate this trophy to my dad.”
The 31-year-old's effort had been shortlisted along with goals from Venezuela's Deyna Castellanos and South African goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke.
The Gunner added: “I tried to do the right thing at the right moment, and at that moment I thought it was the perfect gesture to score.”
Giroud's compatriot Zinedine Zidane, meanwhile, won the 'Best Manager Award' after helping Real Madrid to both the European and Spanish crowns.
