Jose Mourinho entered Bristol City's dressing room following their shock 2-1 win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup.
That's according to Robins defender Hordur Magnusson, who spoke about the incident while heaping praise on his team's performance.
The Red Devils went a goal behind at Aston Gate on Wednesday before Zlatan Ibrahimovic leveled with a long-range set-piece.
But Lee Johnson's men continued to battle, and were awarded when Korey Smith found the back of the net deep into stoppage time.
After the game Mourinho claimed the Championship outfit were fortunate to win, but also made time to congratulate the Robins players on their achievement.
Speaking to Fotbolti, Hordur Magnusson said: "This is something you have not seen before and of course it was just fun to be part of this.
"Mourinho came into the dressing room and praised us for the performance and wished us good luck.
"So what he said in interviews after the game [about Bristol being lucky to win] was I think more his character as a manager rather than the man himself."
Mourinho was involved in a spat with the Manchester City players following his side's defeat in the recent derby at Old Trafford.
The Portuguese is said to have entered the away dressing room to order the Citizens to tone down their celebrations, and became embroiled in an argument with goalkeeper Ederson.
Mourinho was hit with water and milk in the ensuing ruckus, as players from both teams clashed in the tunnel.
Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta suffered a facial injury in the spat.
