Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda is set to be given a chance to shine in Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash against Everton.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been restricted to a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge this season, despite a starring role in the 5-1 thumping of Nottingham Forest in the previous round.

Musonda voiced his displeasure at his lack of action on social media, before deleting the post.

His Instagram activity landed him in hot water with his club, but it appears the Belgian will be handed the opportunity to stake a claim as Antonio Conte makes changes to his squad to face the Toffees at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian told the club's official website, said: "I think for the game against Everton it is a good opportunity to give a chance to young players like Charly Musonda and Kenedy.

"They are young but they deserve this chance because they are working very well, they are improving and to see the improvement during a tough game against Everton, I think is important for the club."
