Chelsea star Cesar Azpilicueta has admitted that dressing room morale at Stamford Bridge is very low after their latest setback, report football.london.

The Premier League champions are without a win since they beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 thanks to a last-gasp Michy Batshuayi strike three weeks ago.

Although they managed to avoid losing a third game in a row as they came back to earn a point against Roma, Azpilicueta admits that the players are not happy with their current form.

Speaking to the Standard after the game, Azpilicieta admitted that it hurt to give up a two-goal lead but credited his teammates with fighting back for th draw.

"The mood at the moment is not the best," the Spaniard conceded.

"To come back into the game to get a point is big for the team, to show the character and that we won't give up. We had the game in our hands when we were 2-0 up, but we also had it lost when we were 3-2 down."

The Blues are hoping to snap their two-game losing streak in the league when they face Watford at the weekend after defeats to Premier League leaders Manchester City and bottom of the table Crystal Palace.

"The reality is we have gone three games without a win and we will try to get back to winning ways on Saturday," Azpilicueta said, laying down a challenge to his teammates to turn things around.

"It is true we are not in our best moment. We came into the game after two consecutive defeats in the Premier League."
