Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham all released their third kits ahead of their Champions League campaign on Tuesday morning, and fans found it impossible to ignore the similarities.

All three clubs tweeted at around 9am to reveal the new strips, which will predominantly act as away kits during their European campaigns.

And the three kits - which are all made by Nike and cost £90 for an elite shirt and £60 for an adult replica - all feature the same pattern on the front, with the dark colours only slightly tweaked. Nike also gave detailed descriptions of the shirts.

And while it is clear to see that the shirts are different colours, the fact that the design of them looks broadly similar didn't go unnoticed by fans on Twitter.

The kits are all available to buy from the club's websites (although not each other's) with City set to be the first team to wear theirs in Wednesday night's clash at Feyenoord.

Chelsea have confirmed that they'll wear theirs against Atletico Madrid on September 27.
