Danny Welbeck has been pictured in an Arsenal shirt for the first time.

The England international joined the Gunners in a £16million deal on deadline day after Manchester United brought in Radamel Falcao on loan.

He is set to wear the No.23 shirt at the Emirates and has today pulled on his new colours.

Welbeck was expected to make his Arsenal debut in a crunch clash with Manchester City after the international break.

However that could be put back after he suffered an injury during England training today.

Welbeck rolled an ankle during the Three Lions session and is a doubt for Wednesday night's friendly with Norway.

Boss Roy Hodgson said: "Unfortunately in training he did manage to receive a knock in the session, but I have been assured he is okay and that it will not rule him out - but obviously I suppose it could happen."
