Fernando Llorente has revealed that the lure of working under Mauricio Pochettino contributed to him picking Tottenham over Chelsea.
The Spanish striker completed a move to Spurs late on Deadline Day after Chelsea's bid was hijacked.
Llorente bagged 15 Premier League goals for the Swans last campaign to help the club survive relegation, but is already targeting winning trophies after his move to north London, report football.london.
Llorente spoke to Spurs TV last night after completing his move - and here's every word Tottenham's new striker had to say:
"I'm very very happy to join Tottenham, it's an amazing club and all I say is that I've come here to help Tottenham to win the title.
"They are working very good in the last few years."
What has attracted you to Spurs?
"I think they are working very, very good.
"I like Mauricio Pochettino a lot, his mentality and I think the project, the philosophy of the club is amazing."
Last season we scored 86 goals in the Premier League, as a striker yourself you must be excited to come in to this team?
"Yes, I'm very excited to come here seeing Harry Kane, he's an amazing striker.
"I'm very to stay here, play with him and all the players. I want to know them"
What have you made of Harry and can you imagine playing alongside him in this Spurs team?
"I'm 32 years old but I want to learn every day. I think I can learn a lot of things from Harry and all the players.
"I can learn a lot with Pochettino and I want to do my best here, I think I can do more things in my career and my dream is doing it here in Tottenham."
We remember you scoring so many goals in your years at Bilbao and you played at White Hart Lane in 2011 didn't you? What do you remember?
"I remember the atmosphere.
"When I left this match I can see how it is in England and in the Premier League, I always wanted to come to the Premier League.
"The match was amazing and now I want to see the new stadium, I'm sure it will be amazing.
The club is in a very good place at the moment isn't it? We've seen what's happening on the pitch, off the pitch with the new stadium - it's very exciting times?
"Yeah, I think it's a very good moment to come to Tottenham. I think they will have a lot of opportunities to win titles and we will fight for this."
