Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has lifted the lid on the 'smoking in the showers' incident, which saw him get hit with a £20,000 fine in 2015.
Szczesny, who has spent the past two years on loan from the Gunners at Roma, completed a permanent move to Juventus ahead of the new season.
The transfer saw the Poland international part company with the Gunners after a decade's service, which wasn't without some controversery.
Following a 2-0 defeat to Southampton in January 2015, Szczesny was caught smoking in the Arsenal showers and hit with a fine.
He was then photographed lighting up just five months later, before it was reported that he had done the same with new club Roma - all in the same season.
But in an interview with The Independent, Szczesny has dismissed the claim he was caught with a cigarette in the Italian capital, while discussing the incident at Arsenal.
"I never got caught," said the shot-stopper. "I admitted to it when I was asked if it was me in London but the second one was bulls***.
"At Arsenal I did it and held my hands up but never at Roma."
Szczesny has featured twice for Juventus since putting pen to paper with the Serie A champions in July, and kept a clean sheet in both games.
He has also played twice for his country in World Cup qualifying. Keeping goal in Poland's 6-1 win over Armenia and their 4-2 victory over Montenegro.
