Tottenham striker Harry Kane has revealed that he will frame Cristiano Ronaldo's shirt.

The pair exchanged garments following Spurs' 1-1 draw against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Tuesday evening and the England international has spoken of his plans for it.

"I asked for his shirt and I am going to get it framed," he said.

"He has been a role model for me."

He also added that former Manchester United man Ronaldo didn't give much away about what he would do with Kane's shirt.

"I gave him my shirt too, but I don't know what he'll do with it."

In-form Kane put in another strong performance at the Bernabeu, playing a big hand in Spurs' opener and almost scoring a winner with ten minutes to go.

This performance came after Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane labelled Kane as the "complete player" as rumours grow that the Spanish side will look to target the England skipper for a summer transfer.

“I try to use that as positives," Kane continued. "I’ve said before that positive comments help a striker, I try to use it as motivation. Not just me, we’ve got a whole squad, a whole team working very hard.

“But when you’ve got a striker scoring goals, it’s natural for people to talk about that. I use that as a positive — try to use it for confidence moving forward.”
