Arsenal fans are asking why Mesut Ozil always seems to turn on the class for Germany but struggles to do the same for the Gunners. And they are calling on boss Arsene Wenger to come up with an answer.
The German midfielder is unquestionably brilliant and has at times looked absolutely sensational in an Arsenal shirt.
But all too often he has been criticised for appearing too relaxed, and seemingly unwilling to put a shift in for his team.
Representing his nation in their World Cup qualifier against Czech Republic on Friday, which they won 2-1, the former Real Madrid man put in a shift to remember.
Playing the entire game in a very talented team, Ozil set up RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner with a brilliant ball to open the scoring early in the first half.
He was also involved in a brilliant passage of play in which he sprinted back to make a tackle before starting an attack from deep.
His willingness to perform and win the match was there for everyone to see, and Arsenal fans were delighted to see this.
But many were confused as to why he doesn't do this more regularly for Arsenal, and suggested Wenger might well be to blame.
