When goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny hangs up his gloves, he could be set for a career in the music business - after he penned a track for his wife's new album.

The former Arsenal keeper, who spent eight years with the Gunners, is married to Marina Luczenko, a renowned popstar in the couple's native Poland.

Her upcoming album, 'On My Way', is being tipped for big things.

And it features a track written by her 27-year-old shotstopper hubby.

Szczesny, who can play piano and guitar, wrote 'I Do' for his wife, reports the Sun .

The Juventus star said he put some words to a melody composed by his wife when he "was bored".

To his surprise, she thought it was "cool".

He said: "She has tried to record it, then we've made some changes, but the lyrics are mine!

"What are the lyrics about? It can be interpreted differently but as an author I know exactly what I wanted to say.

"It's about toxic love. I must say I'm quite sensitive guy. I think it went well."

Marina's album, recorded in London, features a track, 'Lay My Body Now', co-composed by X Factor winner James Arthur.
