Sam Allardyce's masterplan worked!
The new Everton manager employed a deep defensive setup for the Merseyside derby at Anfield, with his team simply sitting back and letting Liverpool play in front of them.
And for while it looked as though it wasn't going to pay off, with Mohamed Salah's excellent first half strike giving the Reds the lead.
But Liverpool were unable to build on their dominance, and ultimately paid for that when a Dejan Lovren foul on Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave the Blues a penalty, from which Wayne Rooney levelled the scores.
And at half-time, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher summed things up perfectly.
Working as a pundit for Sky Sports, said: "If Everton played any deeper today, they'd be in Stanley Park!"
The famous park acts as neutral ground between Anfield and Goodison Park, with Everton's tactics clearly getting Carragher thinking of it.
