Emotions were running high at Anfield after Liverpool's Champions League game with Sevilla on Wednesday night.
Despite dominating the game for large periods, defensive errors meant that the Reds had to settle for a 2-2 draw - with young defender Joe Gomez sent off for a second bookable offence in injury-time.
Gomez had started the game at right-back, and could hardly be blamed for either of Sevilla's goals - scored by Wissam Ben Yedder and Joaquin Correa following hesitation at the back from Dejan Lovren.
And given that it was hardly the first time that the Croatian has been to blame for a goal that Liverpool have conceded, some fans have started to call for Jurgen Klopp to move Gomez over to centre-back to replace the former Southampton man, even if Michael Owen doesn't think he's up to it .
And it seems as though Gomez might have noticed.
Reds Twitter account Empire of the Kop have suggested that Gomez liked an Instagram post calling for him to start at centre-back and criticising Lovren.
The comment from user issroonneeyyy read: "Can you f****** start playing centre-back. I'm sick of Lovren playing in the centre. Get Klopp to partner you in the centre cuz I know you'll get the job done."
Fans noticed the "like" too, and there was plenty of buzz about it on social media.
Gomez will be suspended for Liverpool's next Champions League match away to Spartak Moscow, with many fans no doubt hoping he gets a run out at centre-back in the domestic matches before that.
