Substitute Romelu Lukaku's strike in the final six minutes secured Manchester United a 2-0 victory over Derby County.

The Belgian star and his teammates appeared extra delighted as they booked their passage to the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night.

And boss Jose Mourinho later revealed just why his players were so happy about the win.

Avoiding a replay means the squad can now go on a warm-weather trip to Dubai on Monday.

Speaking to reporters after the clash at Old Trafford, Mourinho said: "If you have a replay, we don't go to Dubai and everybody wants to go.

"Did you see the players celebrating the second goal? Everybody wants to have a week of good training, good facilities, sun."

However, their sunshine break will only go ahead if Stoke, their opponents the following Monday, do not draw against Coventry and force their clash with United to be rearranged.

"It still depends on Stoke's result," Mourinho added. "If Stoke get a draw we don't go to Dubai."

Furious Mourinho also hit back at Antonio Conte - and took a swipe at the match-fixing claims which the Chelsea boss was acquitted of.

Mourinho could not resist a dig at the Chelsea manager's involvement in a match-fixing scandal in Italy 2011.

Conte was cleared of doing nothing to prevent a match-fixing scandal while manager of Siena, but only after serving a four-month ban.

"Yes I made mistakes in the past on the touchline, yes I will make less, but I think I will still make a few," said Mourinho.

"But what never happened to me and what will never happen to me is to be suspended for match fixing, that never happened to me and will never happen."
