Liverpool fans are furious that Sadio Mane has been sent off in their Premier League clash with Manchester City.
The Reds forward caught Ederson on the chin with a high-boot, causing the Citizens' goalkeeper to drop to the ground in a heap.
The Brazilian received medical assistance on the pitch before eventually being taken off on a stretcher to the sound of applause inside the Eithad stadium.
But prior to this happening, Jonathan Moss showed Mane a straight red card for the challenge, reducing Liverpool to ten men.
Gary Neville was first to speak out about the decision to send off the former Southampton man, and claimed it was slightly harsh.
"There wasn't a great reaction from the stadium," he said on Sky Sports, suggesting no one predicted the referee to show a straight red.
Thierry Henry added: "Sometimes when you see a player go down you think he must be hurt, so I think that played on his mind."
He added: "If it happened in midfield it would never have been a red.
Liverpool fans were a little bit more vocal about the decision however, and were quick to take to social media to complain.
