Phil Neville has found himself linked with the vacant Everton manager's job following Ronald Koeman's sacking - and Liverpool fans couldn't be happier.
Koeman was axed following a dismal run of defeats which has seen the Toffees fall to third from bottom in the Premier League.
Neville, who spent eight seasons at Goodison Park - making 303 appearances, has emerged as a surprise contender for the role.
The 40-year-old, who earned his coaching badges in retirement, only has experience at Valencia where he was assistant manager for one year.
Part of his time at La Liga outfit was spent under brother Gary's dismal reign - which ended with the former United right-back sacked.
Neville then quit Valencia in a bid to take on a management role of his own - but has since only appeared as a TV pundit.
Hearing the news that the ex-England left-back has been linked with the Everton job, Liverpool fans took to Twitter to make the same request...
