Daniel Sturridge is brimming with confidence at the moment.

The Liverpool striker, who has featured sporadically for the Reds this season, returned with a great goal in his side's win over Huddersfield last week.

His effort was the turning point in the match, as Liverpool moved through the gears to record a 3-0 scoreline after Sturridge had broken the deadlock.

The 28-year-old then followed this up with another goal in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Maribor in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Sturridge was part of the Liverpool team that hit the training ground this week ahead of their Premier League game with West Ham.

A video captured the forward on the ball during a training drill, while Sadio Mane stood behind him attempting to dispossess him.

The clip showed Sturridge dropping his shoulder before beating his teammate with ease, as Mane tried in vane to chase him down.

The striker finished the move by scoring with a drilled shot into the corner of the goal, stunning the Liverpool fans who watched the video on Twitter.
