There's a fair amount of pressure on Liverpool going in to Saturday's meeting with Huddersfield Town at Anfield, but you wouldn't have known it from Thursday's training session.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp put his players through their paces ahead of the meeting with the Terriers, and the side looked in good spirits despite their 4-1 defeat to Tottenham at Wembley last weekend.

Liverpool will hope that a run of matches against Huddersfield, Maribor and West Ham represents the perfect chance to get back on track, and most of their players looked to be having a great time on Thursday.

All except Ragnar Klavan, but more of him later...

1. After Simon Mignolet had another shocker against Spurs at Wembley, Jurgen Klopp adopted his "everyone can have a go in goal" policy to see if he found any solutions

That's a good start, Mo (

2. Next up after Salah was Jordan Henderson

That's it Hendo, make yourself big (

3. And then Alberto Moreno, who seems to have an approach to goalkeeping which is just as crazy as his approach to playing outfield

"This is how you do it, right?" (

4. It ended pretty much how it always does for Liverpool goalkeepers though, lying flat on their back nowhere near the ball and with Dejan Lovren in the vicinity

Congratulations Albie, you're in! (

5. Speaking of Lovren, he absolutely HASN'T been sent to train with the reserves following his Spurs horror show, but here he is with Jon Flanagan

"It could be worse Dejan. I'm pretty sure Jurgen's forgotten I exist" (

6. With Lovren tipped to be dropped for the weekend visit of Huddersfield, potential new centre-back partners Joel Matip and Joe Gomez were getting to know each other

"Right, how can we sort this mess out?" (

7. After clear the air talks following the Spurs loss, Klopp was going through his new method of training defenders

"So when I throw the ball to you, you kick it away, alright?!" (

8. A day after signing his new contract, Ben Woodburn was getting down to work in his sensible black boots

"You wouldn't get away with those pink ones in Wales lad" (

9. Roberto Firmino was all smiles as usual, as he dazzled James Milner with his pearly whites

"I don't care how good they look Bobby, no Yorkshireman would ever do that to himself" (

10. And Ragnar Klavan demonstrated the spacial awareness that we've come to know and love from Liverpool defenders, pranging his bumper on the way in

It's always eventful at Melwood!
