Radja Nainggolan has been on both Manchester United and Chelsea's radar for quite some time now - something he knows only too well.

The Belgian midfielder has previously distanced himself from a move to Stamford Bridge, and has also refused to rule out a potential transfer to Old Trafford.

But the spotlight wasn't on him this week, rather his former Roma teammate Antonio Rudiger, who secured a £34million move to Chelsea.

Roma's Kevin Strootman took to Instagram in the wake of the transfer, wishing the German defender well for the future.

Under a picture of the pair on the training ground in the Italian capital, the Dutch international wrote: "Good luck to my bro Antonio Rudiger at his new club.

"I'm going to miss our fights in the training sessions and our discussions in the dressing room. But especially we are going to miss you on the pitch."

At the very bottom he added: "Ps. I hope that this will be the last goodbye of this summer," along with the wink emoticon.

Roma fans flooded to the picture on social media to wish the German well, however Nainggolan also popped up in the comments with something to say.

Apparently responding to the final line of Strootman's message, the 29-year-old wrote: "I don't know," along with three smiley face emoticons.

Now, the Belgian could be referring to the "we will miss you" part of the caption.

But it seems fans on social media are convinced he is hinting that he could follow the German defender out the door, potentially to a Premier League club.
