Anthony Martial was less than impressed at being taken off in Manchester United's 3-1 win over Arsenal on Saturday.

The France international was replaced in the 67th minute of the match at the Emirates Stadium, making way for Ander Herrera.

The Red Devils were 3-1 up at the time and Jose Mourinho was apparently keen to tighten up his defence and see out the game.

But Martial was bitterly disappointed to be the man who had his number called, and could be seen uttering things under his breath as he made his way off the pitch.

Now it cannot be confirmed that Martial was swearing as it is not clear what the France international said, nor can it be verified.

However, that hasn't stopped some Man United fans speculating that he may have been swearing under his breath while walking towards the touchline.

According to some amateur lip-readers, the former Monaco man was apparently seen uttering the words "puta", and "fils de pute", which translates as "b****" and "son of a b****" respecitvely.

And many took to social media to point out what they had spotted.
