Manchester United have arrived back in the UK following their 1-0 win over Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final.

The Red Devils will take a one-goal advantage into the return fixture at Old Trafford next week after Marcus Rashford's sublime free-kick in Vigo.

England hitman Rashford bent the ball exquisitely into the top corner from 25 yards to further prove his worth to Jose Mourinho's side.

But Rashford limped off late in proceedings, and while Mourinho played down his injury, he looks set to be rested in a much-changed lineup for the Arsenal clash.

"He started the game with a little problem," Mourinho told BT Sport.

"And obviously with the running and continuity he was feeling and Martial was fresh and he had to give us the last 10 or 15 minutes where we thought we could still score because of plenty of space to play.

"I’m very pleased with the performance, not so pleased with the result," he added. "At half-time we should already be not three but two and the result is open, and I think we played enough to have the result closed.

"So next week is a big match at Old Trafford. We tried until the end from the first minute to win the match and score goals but we missed chances.

"But the team was good, was strong, was compact, could make a strong atmosphere look nice and could make a team that is very difficult to play against because of the way they defend, seven, eight or nine players man to man.

"We also had to play against a very negative record of Manchester United in Spain, so it’s good.

"But we have a match at Old Trafford and let’s hope Old Trafford wants us to win because when Old Trafford wants us to win we win."

Mourinho was asked again about the likelihood of a heavily rotated side against Arsenal at the weekend and stressed he had no choice but to rest players.

"It’s not affected, it’s what I have to do, so I’m going to do," he retorted.
