It wasn't a good weekend for Manchester United.

The Red Devils turned in a meek display as they lost 1-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, with Alvaro Morata's brilliant second half header securing the three points for the Blues.

The performance was the latest in a long line of sub-par displays from United when facing the big Premier League sides away from home, with their defensive performance in the goalless draw at Liverpool last month also attracting criticism.

And it was all too much for United fan Hasan, who called BBC Radio Five Live's 606 programme to rant about Jose Mourinho's tactics in big games and the displays of some of his players, especially Marouane Fellaini, who was likened to a tree.

Host Kelly Cates and pundit Ian Wright could barely contain their laughter, with some of the highlights below.

"We are just a rich West Brom, we're playing boring, horrific football," said Hasan.

"When we're struggling we bring on a tree in Fellaini.

"We're playing thousands, hundreds of pounds to watch our team, and we know what's going to happen."

Hasan then addressed the absence of injured midfielder Paul Pogba, claiming that United should be good enough to win without him, and criticising the displays of Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the Frenchman's absence.

"We should be good enough to be beating teams without one player," he continued.

"Mkhitaryan is anonymous."

With Manchester City now eight points clear at the top of the table, Hasan isn't confident over United's prospects this season.

"The truth is we're done for the season," he said. "We might as well retire."
