Paul Pogba was hard at work before Saturday's clash between Arsenal and Manchester United got underway.

That's according to optimistic Red Devils supporters who believe Agent P was working his magic on Gunners midfielder Mesut Ozil.

The German is set to leave the Emirates at the end of the season after refusing to sign a new contract with the north London club.

As MirrorSport previously revealed, his most likely destination is Manchester United, meaning all eyes were on the German on Saturday.

Ahead of the game BT Sport cameras focused on the two teams in the tunnel before they made their way onto the Emirates pitch.

Pogba was seen spotting Ozil in the line of Arsenal players and reaching out to shake his hand before pulling him in for a hug.

The gesture meant little in the grand scheme of things, as the duo are friends, but it certainly got excited Red Devils supporters talking.

Pogba has previously brought attention to the fact he enjoys convincing players to join the cause at Old Trafford.

He played a big part in getting the Romelu Lukaku deal over the line in the summer, taking to social media to announce his Agent P alter-ego.

Ozil sparked further speculation after the game when he was seen hugging a number of Manchester United's coaches.

The German knows the coaches from his time at Real Madrid, but worried Gooners have seen it as a sign of his increasingly likely move to Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho has refused to rule out a move for the 29-year-old while Ozil is known to hold the Portuguese coach in high regard.

Mourinho was recently asked about signing the midfielder, and replied: "No comment."

He later admitted it was no surprise to him that players like Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were happy to run down their contracts.
