Manchester United will be aiming to continue their unblemished start to the campaign when they take on Swansea City on Saturday.

Romelu Lukaku marked his full debut with a brace as the Red Devils romped to a 4-0 victory against West Ham at Old Trafford last weekend.

Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial were also on the scoresheet in a win that sent out a warning to their Premier League rivals.

Jose Mourinho will be hoping his troops can replicate that form when they head to the Liberty Stadium.

They take on a Swansea side who were held to a goalless draw at Southampton on the opening day of the campaign.

Mourinho will provide the latest team news and more when they faces the cameras this afternoon and you can follow all the latest below.

Mourinho: We're not the favourites

Jose Mourinho insists Manchester United are not the Premier League’s “dream team” - despite their 4-0 win over West Ham on the opening weekend of the new season.

United stormed to the top of the table with their emphatic win, but Mourinho claimed the manner of the victory does not make his side the best team in the country or favourites for the title.

“I’m too experienced and stable to lose my discipline, my stability and to think a 4-0 really makes us the best team in the country, the favourites or the dream team,” said Mourinho.

“We’re not favourites, we’re not the dream team, we’re just a team with more confidence than last season, with more time of work together, but I’m calm.

“When I look to the last match, I like many, many things, but the challenge is not to repeat the result, because a 4-0 win is difficult to repeat in the Premier League, but to repeat the same kind of performance.”

On facing Swansea

He saved the team. The team was in a difficult moment and they stayed in the Premier League. They did well to do that.

One point away against a good team like Southampton is a very positive result for them so I am waiting for a difficult match.

On Chelsea's bad start

When I won two consecutive titles with Chelsea, the United manager [Sir Alex] said we brought the bar to a certain level.

And that they had to improve a lot to try to win the trophy back. I think this happens every season. Somebody wins and the others are not happy.

They don’t accept it with their hands in their pockets and the others improve to try to be better.

Happy with transfer business?

My club did phenomenally well.

I had four targets and got three and we signed all of them before the first match of the season.

So my club did great work for me. We are in stable situation.

On closing the transfer window

My opinion is that we have to adapt to the situation, no matter what.

As a football manager and not a marketing man, just as someone who wants to work with the team and with players, I would prefer the window to close as soon as possible, so everyone knows the players we have, and the deals will be done earlier.

Nobody will be waiting for the last week and we wouldn’t have a situation we sometimes have with players playing game No.1 for one team and game No.2 for another.

Latest on Perisic

United have again been linked with Inter winger Ivan Perisic.

It remains to be seen if they make a move but Jose is keeping his cards close to his chest.

Will he end up at Old Trafford?

I don’t think we are [in the market] unless something happened that put us in market again.

I told Mr Woodward obviously my plans were four but I also told him ‘no pressure from me - do what you think is the best for the club’.

We will be together for another transfer window in January and next summer, so there is no pressure from me at all.

I’m happy with the squad we have. I am ready to go without a fourth player. If we are out of the market I am fine. I am okay.

On West Ham victory

When I look to the last match, I like many, many things, but the challenge is not to repeat the result, because a 4-0 win is difficult to repeat in the Premier League, but to repeat the same kind of performance.

We had good tactical discipline in the team, a really good clean sheet, played good football, had a good dynamic in attack, we were scoring goals, winning 1-0 and we kept playing to try to score more goals and to try to play well.

I liked a lot. I liked the fact the three subs, who are normally disappointed people to be on the bench, even five minutes like Jesse Lingard, 10 like Anthony Martial or 15 like Marouane Fellaini, they performed at same level.

Are United title favourites?

I‘m too experienced and stable to lose my discipline, my stability and to think a 4-0 really makes us the best team in the country, the favourites or the dream team.

We’re not favourites, we’re not the dream team, we’re just a team with more confidence than last season, with more time of work together, but I’m calm.

But this is just the beginning. Last season we played three matches, had nine points and finished sixth.

Team news

Jose Mourinho has provided an update to MUTV on the fitness of his players.

He has almost a fully fit squad to choose from.

Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are set to play for the U23s on Monday.

Everybody is fine. The next week, on Monday, in the Under-23s game, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young are playing their first minutes of competition this season.

It is like a pre-season match for them. But it is good news because, when they can play with the Under-23s, it is because the last week they trained with us all week so they are both coming [back].

Van Nistelrooy on Rashford

United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy has hailed Marcus Rashford’s progress.

The England forward caught Van Nistelrooy’s eye a couple of years ago.

Now he is following in his footsteps at Old Trafford.

I watched him playing in the Under-19s against PSV. He was a huge talent even then. It’s amazing how he has developed so far.

I couldn’t imagine that he would be playing in the first team just six months after I saw that game.

And now he has won the Europa League, too! He has experienced such a quick development and that says something about his ability to learn. That’s a good characteristic to have.

Real to return for De Gea?

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been pursued by Real Madrid for years but just when it appeared as if their interested had died, Los Blancos could be ready to reignite it.

The Spain No.1 will be targeted before the end of the transfer window, report the Sun.

The reigning back-to-back European champions will bid £46m to persuaded the Red Devils to give up their star man.

Keylor Navas has made several high-profile mistakes and Zinedine Zidane is now ready to address the position after three seasons with the Costa Rica international.

Nemanja Matic has insisted Manchester United is the biggest club he has played for.

The Serb completed a £40million move from Chelsea earlier this summer in what appears an excellent piece of business by the Red Devils.

Matic was excellent on his debut against West Ham on Sunday as Jose Mourinho’s men got off to a winning start.

And after lifting the Premier League title twice at Stamford Bridge, he believes United have all the tools to pip them to the post this time around.

“Everyone knows what Manchester United is about. It is different,” he said.

“Chelsea is a big club, Benfica are the biggest club in Portugal. But Manchester United is Manchester United.

“Maybe you have two or three clubs similar to United, but it is one of the biggest clubs in the world for sure.

“When I came here for the first day, I could feel that the people at the club help you every day if you need something and supporters are very important for this club.”

Smalling launches unrest barb at United's rivals

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has taken aim at United’s top-six rivals, with his suggestion that there is unrest within their respective dressing rooms.

While the England centre-half is enjoying life at Old Trafford, he claims there are “a lot of stories from other clubs” which suggest all is not well elsewhere.

Three of United’s rivals, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool, have all seen problems emerge over recent months with star men.

“It’s hard to be able to have 25 players that all get along,” Smalling said. “But I’ve found in the dressing room everybody is getting on, everyone’s joking, we’ve got music playing and everyone is laughing and joking about.

“I hear a lot of stories from other clubs and there’s a lot more people that don’t get on than us so I think we’re very blessed to have the changing room that we have.”
