Manchester United's stars arrived for training on Wednesday ready to step up their preparations for the weekend.
United are looking to build on their thumping 4-0 win over West Ham on the opening day.
The star-studded squad were pictured arriving at Carrington as they continue their preparations for the Saturday lunchtime fixture against Swansea.
In their fleet of luxury cars, the players arrived one-by-one, stopping to pose for pictures and sign autographs for fans.
Meanwhile, Michael Carrick insists that having the United captaincy has not changed him.
Carrick, who sat out the win against West Ham, was handed the skipper’s armband by Jose Mourinho following Wayne Rooney’s departure and the veteran midfielder is in his 12th season at Old Trafford.
The former England international, who has clocked up 458 games for United, is thrilled by the honour and says it is important to remain the same person.
"You’ve got to try to lead in certain ways, but I’m just trying to be myself,” he said.
“You can’t suddenly change because you’re put in a different role. You’ve just got to be yourself and respect all the lads like I do.
“It’s a big honour and it’s very special to be in the position I’m in.
“It’s a tremendous feeling. It’s hard to explain, but it’s a very nice feeling to have."
Carrick, 36, quipped Mourinho probably appointed him because he is the grandad of the dressing room.
“It probably comes with me being here for quite some time now and being the oldest in the squad,” he said. “It doesn’t really change an awful lot from day-to-day.
“It’s nice to be in the position. There’s obviously more responsibility, but I think that’s a natural thing.”
Being captain does not make Carrick immune from being rotated and he sat out Sunday’s emphatic win over West Ham.
Carrick understands Mourinho’s squad rotation policy and knows he will get his opportunities over the course of the long season.
“We’ve got a great squad,” he said. “It’s a long season and there will be a lot of games. Hopefully we can go far in the cup competitions.
“There will be a lot of games, just like last year, and there’s going to be a lot of squad rotation.”
