Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has shown his charitable side, after putting his personal box at Old Trafford up for auction.

Lindelof and girlfriend Maja Nilsson are set to sell their seats for the Red Devils clash with Arsenal in April 2018 to help Swedish charity appeal, Musikhjalpen.

The appeal - which is broadcast live on Swedish radio - has pledged to give the proceeds of the sale to supporting the charity in this years quest to help children who are involved in human trafficking.

The pair took to Lindelof's Instagram account on Tuesday to post the news of their announcement.

In his post, along with a video in Swedish, Lindelof wrote, "We lend our box for 7 people to the match on 28th April when my Manchester United meet Arsenal at Old Trafford.

"Enter and bid and do not forget that all the money goes to Music Help with this year's theme 'Children are not for sale'. Together we can help children worldwide."

Lindelof is a newcomer to Old Trafford, having only joined from Benfica in the summer for an initial £30.8 million.

The 23-year-old has struggled to make a huge impact for Jose Mourinho's side since his move, starting in just four league appearances this season.

He came off the bench during United's 2-1 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, and is likely to be included in the squad for the match with Bournemouth on Wednesday.
