If there was one thing that caught the eye when watching Liverpool last season it was the speed of their attack.
Both Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane were electric up front, closing down defenders in possession and capitalising on errors.
The speed and movement of the duo, particularly the latter, blew Tottenham away in their Premier League clash in February.
And now it seems the Reds will have even more pace up front this season now that Mohamed Salah is a key member of their attack.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp previously spoke out about the Egyptian after he put pen to paper with the Merseyside giants.
"Even if people didn't know too much about him, they [must have] watched a few videos and they are impressive. He is a fantastic player, with speed," he told the club's official website.
"We said after last season there are a few things we would try to involve in an already really good squad. One of the things is speed, being kind of a finisher, preparing chances, making goals and all that stuff. He brings all this in.
"He is a naturally fit boy - he can run as quick and as long as he wants. I'm really looking forward to [working with him]."
And it seems Klopp shouldn't be the only one confident Salah's speed will enhance the Reds' attacking play, following a revelation from Mane.
The Senegal striker's pace is sensational, and worked wonders for Liverpool last season.
But according to the man himself, who spoke to Fox Sports journalist Keith Costigan, Salah is in fact the quicker sprinter of the two.
You can already hear Premier League centre-back quivering at the thought of coming up against Liverpool this season.
