Mauricio Pochettino have given Tottenham's new stadium his stamp of approval after visiting the site with club chairman Daniel Levy on Friday.

The Spurs boss is counting down to the completion of the club's state-of-the-art new 61,559-seat stadium for the 2018-19 season.

Ahead of Saturday's visit by Bournemouth to their temporary home at Wembley, Pochettino called the progress of the new residence "amazing".

"I think it's amazing, beautiful, so difficult to find the words," he said in a video posted by the club after his first visit to the fast-moving site with Levy.

"I can say thank you to Daniel, because that dream is amazing.

"It's difficult to imagine but I'm sure it will be fantastic.

"I don't want to think to much because it's still a long way away, and a lot of jobs to do, a lot of work, but I think it will be a dream come true.

"I think the stadium will be one of the best in the world and the people, and the spirit of the people that work here you can feel the passion they are showing in every single detail.

"We hope that the fantastic stadium brings us many victories and to start to show the world that we are an amazing club and one of the biggest clubs in the world."

Every new release of images of the new venue has been more impressive than the next for Spurs fans.

Spurs moved out of their old White Hart Lane ground after 118 years last season and are playing their home games at Wembley until their new stadium is ready for 2018/19.

The stands inside the stadium have quickly taken shape and supporters are being updated every step of the way.

The retractable pitch is undoubtedly the star attraction of the stadium and the club will stage two NFL games at their new home during the 2018-19 season.

The design, which has been trialled at the club's training ground, will see the artificial NFL pitch sit at the bottom of the stadium bowl.
