Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is one of three finalists for the Puskas Award.

The prestigious FIFA prize is given for the best goal of the past 12 months.

And Giroud's stunning scorpion kick goal against Crystal Palace has made the final shortlist after an initial 10 candidates.

During the New Year's Day clash, the Frenchman connected with an Alexis Sanchez cross as his exquisite finish beat Wayne Hennessey.

The goal sparked wild celebrations among fans and players alike and some impressive dance moves.

The final contender is Venezuelan teenager Deyna Castellanos.
