Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken the No. 21 shirt at Liverpool following his £40million transfer from Arsenal.

The 24-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the promise he will be used as a midfielder as opposed to a wing-back.

Oxlade-Chamberlain becomes Liverpool's fourth summer signing behind Dominic Solanke, Andrew Robertson and Mohamed Salah.

And excited Liverpool fans looking to get a new shirt with their latest signing's name on the back will get Lucas Leiva's old number 21 to come with it.

Hours after announcing his arrival, Liverpool tweeted a link to their club store which now features Chamberlain shirts.

And the new number seems to have got the seal of approval from the club's former No. 21.

After Liverpool fan account the Redmen TV posted an Instagram image of Chamberlain's new shirt, it was liked by Lucas, who left for Lazio this summer.
