Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the verge of being confirmed as a Liverpool player after the Reds agreed a deal worth up to £40m for the Arsenal star.

The England international appears to have already passed his medical on Wednesday night as a picture surfaced with the player in Liverpool training gear.

The medical is reported to have taken place at England's training centre at St. George's Park, though the location in the picture appears inconclusive.

Jurgen Klopp will hope to integrate the 24-year-old into his midfield, which is the principal reason the player snubbed Chelsea in favour of moving to Anfield.

Oxlade-Chamberlain will take part in the England World Cup qualifiers this week before joining up with his new club ahead of a potential debut away to Manchester City.
