Jose Mourinho has transformed Manchester United from nearly-men into title contenders.
The Red Devils finished way down in sixth spot last season - a massive 24 points behind champions Chelsea.
Mourinho's men only qualified for this season's Champions League after winning the Europa League.
However, United have made a storming start to the season, taking 19 points from a possible 21, with only goal difference separating them and rivals Manchester City.
United's lightning start is credited with a successful pre-season tour to the US where they locked horns with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Mourinho made minor tweaks to their preparations, according to The Times , to get his players focused solely on their football.
The Special One ditched the clothing plan from the previous summer that saw them rotate polo shirts to promote the different colours provided by Adidas.
He arrived at their UCLA training base two hours before the players to meticulously plan the day's sessions.
Mourinho has been a big fan of using the facilities in California, having also visited during his time at Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
It was a far cry from the 2016 tour to China, labelled a "disaster" by former boss Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho even delivered a speech on the flight home to thank the players and staff for their efforts across the pond.
He said: "I want to thank everyone for all their help on this tour."
The changes continued back in England. The walls of Old Trafford and their Carrington training base have been covered with pictures of United greats, but images of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba have been added to the collection.
Mourinho's changes seem to have worked, with the Red Devils the favourites for the title following their unbeaten start.
